My Journey to Living Eco-Friendly

Living Eco-Friendly, Lessons and Take Away's  Hello everyone! If you have been reading my blog post from the beginning then you all know I started this blog 8 weeks ago and with it I have strived to live as eco-friendly as possible. If you haven't been keeping up with my post and are new, then welcome! As this is my final post I am going to share my journey of going green and the bumps in the road along the way.  Reflecting on my time will allow me to keep moving forward with living an eco-friendly life and hopefully show you all that you can live eco-friendly too!! As a reminder, when starting this process as mentioned in my blog post earlier I set goals to obtain throughout this blog series. My goals were: 1. Recycle ALL paper and plastic I use. 2. Use only reusable water bottles.  3. Take reusable bags with me when grocery shopping. 4.Purchase at least 50% of daily/weekly items needed that are made from recycled content. Struggle...

Top 3 People Living Waste Free Living waste free is something I have mentioned plenty of times previously in my blog post when it comes to going green and living eco-friendly. Minimizing your waste has many benefits from saving money to saving the environment. Decreasing your annual trash decreases pollution increasing the earths quality of life along with yours. In my earlier blog post I talked about setting goals in order to minimize waste, however setting these goals may be hard if you don't understand HOW other people are successfully achieving these goals in living eco-friendly.  The steps to minimizing your waste are: 1. Buy used items, check out your local thrift and consignment shops! 2. Use reusable bags 3. Use reusable containers 4. Compost your degradable items, such as yard trimmings and food scraps.  5.
