If going organic is something you're interested in read below a few of my favorite organic recipes for every part of a meal: appetizer, breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.
1. Appetizer
3-Minute Healthy Nachos
These nachos are a great appetizer for a midday snack when you need a quick pick me up or an appetizer before your real meal. Quick and tasty (oh and healthy, if you ignore the cheese you're putting on it), try it out today!!
What you will need:
- organic blue corn chips
- refried beans
- canned kidney beans
- canned jalapeƱos
- organic cheddar cheese
- salsa
- any veggies you like
Once you have all the recipes put the ensemble together by layering all of the goods on top of the chips then finishing off the piece with cheese sprinkled all over on top. Then you can pop in the microwave for around a minute, take it out and finish it up with salsa. Enjoy!!
2. Breakfast
Organic Banana Spice Bread
This recipe is a yummy, great recipe to feed multiple people! Best served with warm butter on it :)
What you will need:
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) organic unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup firmly packed organic brown sugar
- 2 organic eggs
- 4 small ripe organic bananas, mashed
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 1 cup organic all-purpose flour
- 1 cup organic whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons five-spice powder (or ground cinnamon)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
~Directions~
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a standard-sized loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add mashed bananas and mix until well combined. In a small cup, dissolve baking soda with hot water. Stir baking soda solution into banana mixture.
2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together flours, five-spice powder, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture to banana mixture, mixing until just moist. Stir in pecans.
3. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack. Remove from pan and serve warm, or toast in a buttered skillet.
3. Lunch
Pita Tacos
This meal is cheap, easy and fast! You can fill these pitas with anything and it requires zero cooking!
What you will need:
- whole wheat pita
- grated cheese
- tomatoes
- crisp lettuce
- mushrooms
- avocados
- leftover grilled onions
- fresh sliced bell pepper
(or add any other thing you like to these easy to make pitas!)
To make these it is quite simple take any of the veggies you like and put them in the whole wheat pita and there you have it!!
4. Dinner
Vegan Zucchini-and-Cashew-Nut Stuffing
This recipe is healthy and delicious, best eaten as a main course with veggies on the side!
What you will need:
- 3 cups oats
- 2 cups peeled and shredded zucchini
- 2 cups cooked quinoa
- 2 cups diced tomatoes
- 2 cups diced onions
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cups coarsely ground raw cashew nuts
- 1 cups minced fresh parsley
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp sea salt
Mix all ingredients and pour into 13" x 9" pan lightly coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350°F for 45 to 50 minutes.
5. Dessert
Easy Vegan Chocolate Cake

What you will need:
- 3cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 tablespoon cocoa
- 2 tablespoons of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cup of cold water
Mix the dry ingredients, then add the wet ingredients stir and then place in two greased, floured pans at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Once cool frost it and enjoy!!
